Running through mud is awesome — but cleaning up is where real RC care begins. Here's how smart RC hobbyists clean up after the mess.
Always turn off and remove the battery. Detach the body shell and wheels if needed for deeper cleaning.
Use a damp cloth or spray bottle. If you must use a hose, keep it low-pressure and never spray directly on motor or electronics.
Clean the suspension arms, chassis, and undercarriage. Inspect for damage — mud can hide cracks or worn parts.
Use compressed air or a fan to blow dry. Avoid hair dryers (they can melt plastic or electronics).
Re-oil bearings, grease joints, and tighten screws if needed.
